Operating Schematic

The TY90227 is an air driven, reciprocating, single piston grout pump. The reciprocating motor is directly linked by the connecting rod to the piston of the pump. The piston features a built-in check valve which opens on the down stroke and closes on the up stroke, causing the liquid trapped in the riser tube to be pushed out by the piston as it moves up. This pump can reliably handle conventional grout mixes with a water/cement ratio of 0.4:1. Its rugged construction makes it highly suitable for the harshest mining and construction conditions.

🚀 Key Applications
  • Ground anchors, backfilling, guniting, ground sealing, spraying, building repair etc. where cementitious type materials need to be applied to fill voids, cracks and hollows under pressure.
  • Roof bolting, post grouting, longhole grouting, spraying etc.
  • Heavy duty transfer pumping, sludge pumping, cement mortar transfer and spraying.
  • High Pressure Injection grouting
  • Rock and wall spraying
  • Pack spraying
  • Pack stressing for weeping and non-weeping applications
  • Transferring of cement and ore pass lining materials
  • Foundation piling
  • Transferring of fiber materials
  • Quick setting cement grouts for various fixing requirements

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What is the output capacity and pressure capability of the TY90227 grout pump?

The pump features a delivery capacity of 27 liters per minute (LPM) and can achieve a maximum flow pressure of up to 580 PSI, making it highly effective for high-pressure injection grouting.

Q2: What grout mix consistency can this pump handle?

The TY90227 is optimized to cope with conventional grout mixes having a water-to-cement ratio of 0.4:1, making it ideal for standard cementitious grout preparations.

Q3: What are the compressed air input requirements for operation?

The pump is pneumatically powered, featuring a 1/4" air inlet connection. It has an air consumption rate of 17 CFM @ 90PSI, and we recommend using a 3/8" air hose for optimal performance.

Q4: How does the reciprocating single-piston motor mechanism function?

The reciprocating air motor is directly linked to the pump piston via a connecting rod. The piston features a built-in check valve that opens on the downward stroke and closes during the upward stroke, pushing the trapped liquid up and out of the riser tube.

Q5: What are the primary structural dimensions and weight of the pump?

The unit has an overall length of 1,100 mm (43.3 inches) and weighs 16 kg (35.2 lbs). It features a 50mm (2") bore and a 100mm (4") stroke, allowing for high structural efficiency in narrow or challenging mining sites.

Q6: Under what conditions does the 12-month manufacturing warranty become void?

The manufacturer's warranty is voided in cases of incorrect machine installation, improper usage, poor compressed air supply quality, lack of standard maintenance, unauthorized hardware modifications, or failure to follow the operational instructions outline in the user manual.
