What materials and international standards do your Split Set Friction Bolts comply with?

Our Split Set Friction Bolts are manufactured from high strength steel strips (e.g., Q235, 16Mn, or 20MnSi). They can be produced to meet ASTM F432, ISO 9001:2015, or ISO 5857 standards. We provide mill test certificates, batch test reports, and third party inspection (e.g., SGS) upon request.

Is grout or curing time required for installation?

No grout or curing time is needed. The bolt is simply hammered into a slightly smaller borehole (1 to 2 mm smaller than the bolt diameter). The slotted tube compresses and exerts continuous radial friction along the full length, providing instant ground support immediately after installation ideal for water rich strata and fast progressing tunnels.

What is the load capacity and tensile strength of the bolt?

Initial anchorage force: 30 to 70 kN | Pull out load of the retaining ring: 80 kN | Ultimate tensile strength of the tube: 110 to 130 kN (for 42mm) up to 160 to 178 kN (for 47mm) | Yield strength: approx. 95 kN (42mm) | Bearing capacity of the dome plate: ≥65 kN. Do you accept custom sizes, surface treatment, and packaging? What is the MOQ?

Yes. We support custom outer diameters (e.g., 30 to 47 mm), lengths (1.2 m to 2.5 m+), black or hot dip galvanized finish, and tailored dome plates / retaining rings. Our typical MOQ is 500 sets for standard sizes, and we offer flexible pricing for annual volumes above 20,000 sets. Custom packaging (labels, pallets, seaworthy packing) is also available.

What is your delivery lead time and which payment methods do you accept?

For stock orders of 500 to 1000 sets, delivery is 3 to 5 working days. For full container or customized orders, lead time is 15 to 25 days (FOB Qingdao/Tianjin). Payment methods include T/T, L/C, and online credit card transactions. Production lead time and shipping schedule will be confirmed upon order finalization.
